As an avid lover of Sixteen82 restaurant’s fabulous meals cooked up by Chef Kerry Kilpin, I was super excited to hear about their new winter menu and specials. From just R275 per person you can enjoy two courses at this gem of a place in the winelands of Constantia.
Sixteen82 Bistro Lunch:
Startng 3 May, from Monday to Friday, until the end of September Sixteen82 Bistro offers two courses for R275, three courses for R315 and even a four course for R350.
“Chef Kerry’s lip-smacking choice of starters, mains and desserts, give you ample to choose from. The parsnip & spinach soup, pulled pork pot stickers and smoked fish tacos all come with her signature exotic twists. The mains of chicken livers in puff pastry, ethically sourced fish in a tarragon bisque, pulled beef & bacon crumble, and a risotto of the day are enriched with great depth of flavour. The dessert line-up is a choice between a dreamy blueberry mousse, a mouth-watering treacle gâteaux, or the almond & chocolate streusel with salted caramel ice cream.”

Breakfast with a glass of bubbly!
If you’re more of a morning person, then this tantalising breakfast offering called the Vintner’s Breakfast is sure to get your day off to a good start. For R215 per person you can choose one of the signature classics on the breakfast menu served with tea or coffee – and the plus side… a glass of Steenberg bubbly! After your delightful breakfast, head on over to the tasting room to get your complimentary vintners tasting of four Steenberg wines. Now that’s great value!

Some light tapas tasty delights
Sixteen82 Bistro can also russle up some pretty fabulous tapas dishes. Enjoy five tapas dishes for R355 per person sharing.
