New secret garden rooftop bar delights Capetonians

Belvedere Vodka has just launched their Summer rooftop, Vodka cocktail bar in the heart of Cape Town.

“From a maze of fynbos, to drinks infused with rooibos and the sweet fragrances and colours of traditional Cape Town vegetation. This garden bar speaks to the hearts and senses of all visitors, introducing them to the splendour of the Mother City’s greatest asset, nature. Sip on Belvedere spritzers, surrounded by hanging gardens and water fountains, guests will find themselves feeling rejuvenated.”

It’s the hottest new place to enjoy your weekend this summer! It is set in an all natural lawn with 360degree views and even a flamingo fountain.

WHERE: Fedisa Building, 81 Church street, Cape Town
WHEN: Thursdays – Sundays, until end January 2017.
TIMES: 15h00 – 23h00

The Belvedere Secret Garden Bar will offer bespoke summer drinks made only with natural ingredients from the Belvedere range. Hence the saying “relearn natural”.

We hear that there will be a DIY cocktail section. Guests can create their own cocktails using a variety of fresh natural ingredients from avocado and sage, to lemon and mint.

The cocktail menu is quite extensive, check it out:

I absolutely loved the Mountain Roots cocktail.  It’s served on a tree stump with edible soil and micro greens! 😱 It’s made from Belvedere vodka, lemon juice, white cacao, rosemary syrup and fresh beetroot Soda! Um ja!

All this with background sounds from local talent such as DJ Steph, DJ Warren Bockwe, Gennaro Bonafede, Pat La Funk, Dj Wags & many more.

If you are looking for afternoon sunsets and lush, fragrant nights, there is no other place to be but at the Belvedere Secret Garden Bar.

This venue is sure to keep locals and visitors alike entertained until the end of January 2017.  Open from Thursday to Sundays, 15:00 until 23:00.

So which party will be next?

  1. Fedisa has an agreement with the residential buildings around them to not have these events especially re music due to disurbances. And this wine bar and music that plays in our lofts are not really acceptable. Residence was first and should be respected. Should we get the City involved?

    1. Agree – the music is a disturbance and Fedisa promised they won’t disturbed residents. Not acceptable. They jumping on the bandwagon of the first thursday thing but this is till SUNDAY NIGHTS!!!! Not on. Agree get city in.
