Unveiling the Port Tradition:
One of Muratie’s most cherished traditions is its Port production, which dates back to the 1940s. The estate’s renowned Ben Prins Cape Vintage is a testament to the legacy of Ben Prins, Muratie’s legendary winemaker from 1957 to 1987. Known as Barefoot Ben, his distinct feature was his preference for working barefoot in the vineyards. Each sip of Ben Prins Cape Vintage pays homage to his contributions and the winemaking expertise that continues to define Muratie.
