Sweetwell Farm, Restaurant & Deli is an absolute delight, just next door to Cavalli Estate and Eikendal on the R44 in Stellenbosch. The deli is run by Betsie and the restaurant by Alison who have paired up to bring you an absolute mid-day treat! Dine in style whilst feeling at home in this divine setting.
They have recently acquired a new chef, Christiaan Kruger, and the menu is outstanding. Have you ever tried crumbed bone marrow? Well now you can! The meals are quite pricey at about R200 a dish but it is well worth the culinary delight. View the Sweetwell restaurant menu.
The deli section of the farm is brand new and will soon be expanding into a bakery too. Shop from thousands of boutique gifts, meats and fresh produce. I particularly enjoyed the wine by Jan Harmsgat, Robertson, freshly baked bread, organic eggs and fudge of course!
The area around the fireplace is marvellous. In fact, the decor makes you feel right at home with a flamboyantly elegant twist.
There are some comfy spots too where you can enjoy MCC, coffee, tea and cake!
Fun fact! The farm is known as Sweetwell because literally, it has a sweet well…
