The best pairing in SA! The Pinotage and Biltong Festival is back coming 14 and 15 April! Get your tickets now because this festival is going to be #trending and you don’t want to have #FOMO.
This year the festival is at Perdeberg Winery in Agter-Paarl (closer to Wellington) from 11h00-17h00 on the Saturday and the Sunday. Tickets are R200 per person if you buy online or R230 at the gate. Tickets include the usual access to the venue, a branded crystal wine glass and a curated selection of 18 Pinotage and Biltong pairings. Yes guys – EIGHTEEN! One from each winery but there’s a whopping 50 Pinotage’s for tasting and for sale so choose carefully!
The biltong is provided by Afrifoods & Butcher and so the pairings are specifically chosen to highlight the best qualities of both the biltong and the wine.
That’s not all guys, if you aren’t a red wine lover, Pinotage is not always red – think Rosé’s, sparkling wine, MCC, blends and even a white Pinotage!
If choices of wine weren’t enough, there is plenty of food other than biltong too!
